This series of smaller scale gouache paintings on paper playfully examines toys as anthropomorphic subjects. The toys’ bewildered expressions mirror the times we are living in, asking “What’s Happening?”. They are extensions of humans with human emotions, often staring longingly out of a window at an unknown future.
